Lawren Nelson graduated from Villanova University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate at the Widener University School of Law in 1996. During law school, he participated in the university's Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP), which is an intensive course taught by highly experienced trial attorneys, judges, and law professors.

Mr. Nelson was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1996 and joined the law firm of Edelstein Martin & Nelson that same year. He became a partner with the firm in 2003. Since graduation, Mr. Nelson has employed aggressive trial preparation techniques to assure his clients of the highest recovery for their injuries.

Mr. Nelson is a member of the Philadelphia Association For Justice, the American Association For Justice and the Pennsylvania Association For Justice. He has appeared on radio programs as a commentator on tort reform and abuses of the insurance industry.
